Until now, the SpectralForge restoration engine only ran inside our hand-mastering service. The new Preparation page puts it in your hands: sign in, upload your own track, and spend credits on the same measured diagnosis and surgical cleanup we use ourselves before mastering.
Three ways to run it
Pro Analysis (1 credit) measures your track and returns a diagnosis with a step-by-step mastering plan. Raw Preparation (1 credit) returns your file with AI codec artifacts surgically repaired. Analysis + Preparation (2 credits) does both, and builds the plan from the repaired audio. One credit covers up to three preparation passes at different strengths, so you can keep the take you like best, and a run that fails before delivering anything refunds its credits automatically.
What the cleanup repairs
The engine targets the artifacts AI music generators actually leave behind: the static tonal bed that sits under the mix, spectral tilt that skews the overall balance, harsh high-frequency spike bursts, and transient attacks the codec rounded off. Every correction is measured before and after, so the report shows exactly what changed.
New: the declicker
This release adds a dedicated declicker to the chain. AI generators leave tiny clicks and pops at vocal onsets, and some tracks carry single-sample waveform glitches that until now could only be fixed by hand at extreme zoom. The declicker finds both kinds and repairs them surgically: it touches only the damaged milliseconds and leaves the rest of the track untouched. On our test material it finds and repairs dozens to hundreds of clicks per track.
