Not every project needs a subscription. Some songs just need one polished master and a clear explanation of what changed and why. The new MasterForge Mastering Service is exactly that: send one track, get it back mastered by hand with a 6-page PDF report explaining every move.
What it is
A one-off, manual mastering service run by Petri Korhonen. No subscription, no monthly commitment, no AI doing the moves. Upload a WAV or FLAC, fill in a short brief (genre, references you like, what you want emphasized), pay €14.99 (VAT included), and the mastered file plus its diagnostic report come back in about 48 hours.
How the flow works
- 01 — Upload. Drop your mix at the service page. SpectralForge runs an initial diagnostic on the source so the master starts from real measurements, not guesswork.
- 02 — Master. Tilt EQ, presence shelf, bus compression, brickwall limiter, and mid-side moves where the diagnostic flags them. Every action is logged for the report.
- 03 — Receive. You get the mastered WAV (24-bit / 48 kHz) plus a 6-page PDF covering the source diagnosis, the actions taken, before / after metrics, and concrete recommendations for your next mix.
What you get
- Mastered WAV — 24-bit / 48 kHz, streaming-ready and CD-ready
- 6-page PDF report with LUFS, true peak, LRA, spectral tilt, stereo correlation, AI-artifact diagnostics
- Personalized recommendations for your next mix so the improvement compounds
What it affects
The service is a different lane from the self-serve Pro Master subscription. Pro Master gives you the full DSP rack and you do the moves yourself. The Mastering Service is for when you want a finished result and a clear explanation, on one specific track, without learning a new tool. No synthesis, no AI generation, no new material added: only your audio, mastered.
