What it is
Preparation runs the SpectralForge restoration engine, the same one behind our hand-mastering service, on your own tracks. Sign in, upload a file, pick a mode, and credits do the rest. It is built for AI-generated music: the goal is restoration before mastering, not tone shaping.
Four modes
- Pro Analysis (1 credit): a measured diagnosis of your track plus a step-by-step mastering plan you can follow in Pro Master.
- Raw Preparation (1 credit): your file back with AI codec artifacts surgically repaired.
- Analysis + Preparation (2 credits): both, with the plan built from the repaired audio.
- Auto-Master (3 credits): the whole chain unattended. Your track is repaired, a mastering plan is written from the repaired audio, and the Pro Master engine renders a release-ready WAV at your platform loudness target. The master, the prepared FLAC and the plan all land on the run page, and an email tells you when it is done.
What it repairs
The corrections target what AI generators actually leave behind: the static tonal artifact bed under the mix, skewed spectral tilt, harsh high-frequency spike bursts, rounded-off transient attacks, and, new in this release, codec clicks. The declicker finds both onset clicks and single-sample waveform glitches and repairs only the damaged milliseconds, leaving everything else untouched. Every correction is measured before and after, and the report shows what changed.
Credits and re-runs
Pro subscribers get 4 credits included each month, and anyone can buy packs from their account page. One credit covers up to three preparation passes at different strengths so you can keep the take you like best, and a run that fails before delivering anything refunds itself automatically.
